CAN SOMEONE TEACH ME HOW *%#@! TO LINK?

~
Bill Dennis is under the mistaken impression that he has the right to better his life by taking his blog to some new host. He did this without checking with the rest of us mere mortals/technophobes who have no idea how to properly link. Dennis, I copied your new http thingy, pasted it to my template, and guess what?! It didn't freaking work! I understand the site that formerly hosted Peoriapundit sucked- but this is a real inconvenience to ME. Like most Peorians, I fear, resent and hate change. So.... can anyone teach me the correct lingo, or would it be too much to ask Bill to go back to his old format? I LIKED the double posts/comments.

Also, if anyone out there knows a simple way post pics I would love to learn. Assume I know nothing (because I don't) and tell me what to do in tiny tiny, baby steps.

Technology. Phhst. Carbon paper is looking damn good right now.

Don't worry anymore, Polly. I used my magic mutant telekinetic superpowers to direct anyone who clicks on the OLD link on your site to my NEW address.

All you have to do to make a permanent change is to go into your template, find the link that should start: [a href="http://peoriapundit.com"] and change it to [a href="http://peoriapundit.com/blog/"}

Essentially, all you do is add "/blog/" after the ["peoria.com"]

But teach you how to upload images? Sorry, my superpowers are not that great ...

Wow. Double wow. Gotta admit, I'm amazed and perhaps a little aroused. Thanks!

Here's how I post images. I created a free account at http://photobucket.com/

It's really easy to upload images there -- just "browse" for them and click "open", and they're on your Photobucket page. Then under each image you'll find tags you can copy and paste into your blog.

Hope that helps!

Polly, if you look at the "create a post" page in Blogger, there is a new feature that lets users upload images directly to Blogger's servers. The icon they use liiks like a little square photograph. Try playing with that.
