Dear Rob,
Politically speaking, you and I probably agree on very little. However, I do enjoy your blog. It is good to know where the other side is coming from. You have successfully convinced me to at least reconsider my views, and on rare occasions, even change them.
Would you kindly consider dropping the @#!$%* "Bravenet Exchange" pop up/virus I must endure in order to read your blog? It is hard to get rid of and annoying as hell. (Think quail hunting with Cheney type annoying.)
Speaking of Cheney, I wanted to leave a brilliant comment on your post regarding this latest V.P. mishap, but Bravenet went ballistic, reproduced, and wouldn't allow your "comments" window to even open. Maybe Bravenet doesn't like conservatives?
Of course, perhaps you enjoy annoying the hell out me, which is most certainly your right. This is America and you can be wrong if you wanna. Anyway, it is just a suggestion.
Best wishes.
Love,
Polly

Polly, I think you need to quit using Internet Explorer.
peoriaillinoisian, What does internet explorer have to do with it? A Storm in The Port is the only blog I read where I am victimized by bravenet.
I use Firefox and I don't get any popups from his site. The google toolbar with popup blocker might do the same thing. Or you could convince him to change his service...
I use Firefox with a pop-up blocker and I get the same thing, Polly. So I'm not sure if IE is the issue.
Whatever it is, I agree it's annoying.
still there Rob
Rob: Try an entirely new template. Then copy and paste your blogrolling code into the new template. Or, switch to BlogPeoria. You will like Word Press ... and you can import all your Blog*Spot posts!
Internet Explorer stinks. There's not a toolbar in the world that will make it better either. Use Firefox with its extensions in combination with Spyware Blaster and Spybot Search & Destroy and life on the Internet improves immeasurably.
Peoria Dad Lives! *Wipes away tear of joy* Miss you man!
Rob, just logged on to Storm in the Port, no @#$%! Bravenet virus. Thanks!
Love and Conservative Kisses,
Polly
bravenet is still there....
Argh! You guys are right! Went to Storm in the Port this morning and Bravenet was back, the evil bastard.
It only happens on a fresh load of the website with a fresh browser.
